Pro-IV Medical Personnel

Job Summary

This position entails working in various Pro-IV Clinic sites and conducting in home
visits to to administer Pro-IV treatments to patients as a member of our traveling medical personnel team. All Pro-IV treatments are administered intravenously to patients. This position requires proficiency also using medical technology and managing records digitally via our Pro-IV Telehealth portal software.

4 Hours Shift- Responsibilities:
  • Administer Pro-IV Infusions to patients in-home
  • Administer Pro-IV Infusions to patients in Pro-IV Clinics
  • Specialize in giving medicine and fluids to patients through IV injections.
  • Monitor fluid tubes, check infusions and make sure that medications implemented are not counteracting each other or causing a patient harm.
  • An infusion nurse must be skilled in pharmacology, laboratory tests, and sometimes even telemetry to safely monitor patients throughout infusion therapy.
  • Collaboration and communication with the ordering physician throughout therapy.
  • Education on possible side effects/ adverse effects of therapy, and signs and symptoms of infection to report.
  • Developing a plan of care with the patient, family, and physician with regards to infusion therapy
  • Assessing line site and patency regularly, keeping infection control and prevention as a priority.
  • Compensation/Salary : $1,475.00 to $2,465.00 /month
  • Education Requirement : Those looking to become a Pro-IV infusion nurse must first complete an accredited nursing program and obtain a nursing license. They can have earned an ADN or BSN nursing degree. BSN nurses have a broader range of opportunities, as they can pursue supervisory roles as well as become clinical nurse educators with EcoHealth Pro-IV. Obtaining clinical experience in intravenous access and diverse types of infusion therapy is a requirement to become an Pro-IVinfusion nurse.
